Sadia Khan is a University of Utah One-U Responsible AI Initiative (RAI) postdoctoral fellow. Her research interests span technological mediation, human and machine autonomy, and AI ethics. Drawing from her multidisciplinary background in informatics, rhetoric, international studies, institutional analysis and development, and applied economics, she directs her human-computer interaction research towards developing frameworks and operational strategies for responsible digital development and governance. Sadia holds a Ph.D. in Informatics (Social Informatics) from Indiana University-Bloomington with a minor in Law. Prior to joining the University of Utah, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the Autonomous Systems Policy Institute at Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.
